On Day 1, get picked up at your accommodation (only select locations) in Perth and visit Pinnacles Desert before arriving in Kalbarri. On Day 2, enjoy the natural wonders of Kalbarri National Park and then head to Shark Bay. On Day 3, meet dolphins at Monkey Mia in Shark Bay and then go see the Stromatolites of Hamelin Pool before arriving in Coral Bay. Enjoy a free day in Coral Bay on Day 4. On Day 5, explore Cape Range National Park and snorkel in Turquoise Bay. On Day 6, visit the small town of Carnarvon and then spend the night in Northampton. Your trip concludes on Day 7 with a visit to the Kalbarri Coastal Cliffs, sandboarding in the Lancelin Sand Dunes, and a trip to Caversham Wildlife Park before arriving in Perth.

Day 1: Perth Pick-Up – Kalbarri
Welcome to Western Australia! Day 1 will begin with a 7 a.m. pick-up at your Perth accommodation (only select locations). Then you will journey to your first stop of the day: Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park. Here, marvel at the tall, ancient limestone formations rising out of the sand dunes in this desert landscape. Visit the Discovery Centre to learn more about the Pinnacle’s geology and the area’s heritage. After your visit, enjoy lunch by the ocean and then make a brief stop in the town of Geraldton. Finally, you’ll arrive in Kalbarri, where you’ll visit the Kalbarri Coastal Cliffs and Pot Alley, a cove with an incredible view of the rugged coastline. Overnight in Kalbarri.
Day 2: Kalbarri – Shark Bay
On Day 2, explore the natural wonders of the vast Kalbarri National Park. You’ll visit Murchison River Gorge, the 80-km-long gorge home to beautiful sites, trails, and fossils. Also on the list of sites for the day are Nature’s Window – which provides an excellent view of the river through its wind-eroded archway – and the Z-Bend, another impressive lookout toward the river. If the weather conditions are favorable, enjoy a swim in the Murchison River before heading to Denham, home of Shark Bay. Overnight in Denham.
*Note: Today you will have the option to abseil into the Murchison River Gorge, at your own expense.
Day 3: Dolphins at Monkey Mia – Stromatolites – Coral Bay
Today you will interact with wildlife and enjoy the stunning beach at Shark Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the morning, meet the friendly dolphins of Monkey Mia and then relax on the beach before heading back out on the road to your next destination: the Stromatolites of Hamelin Pool. These stromatolites – structures made of carbonate or silicate sediment layers and fossilized algal mats – are known as the oldest and largest living fossils on Earth. After your visit to these geological wonders, you will finally head to your accommodation in Coral Bay. Overnight in Coral Bay.
Day 4: Coral Bay Free Day – Exmouth
Awaken on Day 4 in your accommodation situated right on the Ningaloo Reef, the country’s largest fringing coral reef. Today, you will have free time to explore the reef and its crystal blue-green waters however you please. You might go scuba diving or snorkelling, visit the shark nursery, or even swim with whale sharks, if it’s the right season. In the evening, you’ll make the short drive to your accommodation in Exmouth. Overnight in Exmouth.

Day 5: Cape Range National Park – Turquoise Bay Snorkelling
In the morning of Day 5, explore Cape Range National Park and its impressive limestone ranges, vast canyons, and 50km of untouched beaches. Next, snorkelling in Turquoise Bay awaits you, followed by a visit to Vlamingh Head Lighthouse and to the Milyearing Visitors Centre. You’ll return to your accommodation in the late afternoon to enjoy your last night with your travel buddies and guides. Overnight in Exmouth.

Day 6: Exmouth – Carnarvon – Northampton
Today, bid farewell to Exmouth and visit the small town of Carnarvon. Depending on the season, you may be able to visit a local banana or mango plantation while there, before heading to your accommodation in Northampton. Overnight in Northampton.
Day 7: Kalbarri – Lancelin Sand Dunes – Caversham Wildlife Park – Perth
On Day 7, venture out to Lancelin Sand Dunes to sand board down the white dunes that overlook the ocean. Your next stop of the day will be at Caversham Wildlife Park, where you can meet some of their wildlife animals such as kangaroos, koalas, wombats, and more. Finally, board the bus one last time to relax on your drive back to Perth, where you’ll conclude your adventure through Western Australia around 6:30 p.m. We wish you safe travels onward!
